Empowering Farmers Through Training: Arabuko’s Approach

Arabuko is a social enterprise which provides training for farmers in Zimbabwe. The program has helped empower people in rural communities by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to become successful small-scale farmers and entrepreneurs.

Educational Opportunities

Arabuko provides educational opportunities for its participants in several ways:

• Educational seminars – Trainings are provided on topics such as crop production, rotation, and organic farming practices.
• On-the-job training – Participants gain hands-on experience and mentoring from experienced farmers.
• Field schools – A participatory field school experience is offered, which combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on fieldwork.

Business Development Support

In addition to providing educational opportunities, Arabuko also offers business-development services to its participants, including:
